Burg, 8000 Brugge, Bruges

On Friday, August 7, the Burg is the grand backdrop for the free music festival Brugge Centraal Open Air, with a line-up full of pop artists known for their steaming live sets. Kraantje Pappie De Groningse hit machine Kraantje Pappie made party songs with a grand, electronic sound and lightning-fast raps his trademark. His breakthrough album ‘Crane’ (2012), containing the hit ‘Waar is Kraan’, immediately made him a superstar of Dutch rap. This was followed by gold and platinum hits like ‘Feesttent’, ‘Pompen’ and ‘Traag’, together with Bizzey. In the meantime, Kraan has grown into a fixture at the biggest festivals in the Benelux. With more than 1000 shows, including Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Lowlands and Pinkpop, his live reputation is rock solid. In 2025, Kraantje Pappie’s performance at Pukkelpop in a packed festival tent was still the talk of the festival. Anyone who was there will be able to confirm: Kraantje Pappie is coming to turn the Burg upside down! ’t Hof Van Commerce Onzinnig to introduce ‘t Hof Van Commerce again in Bruges. But for form's sake: Flip Kowlier and Buzze are the best rappers in West Flanders. Of van België (because the other rappers just tried well). And perhaps in the whole world. With more hits than you can count on one hand and a reputation as an oiled live machine, ‘t Hof van Commerce is a fixture at Belgian festivals and in the clubs. Their combination of West Flemish raps and fat beats is a guarantee for a big folk party. S10 Call S10 the crown princess of Dutch alternative pop. With packed shows at Lowlands and Down The Rabbit Hole, several major music awards and her iconic participation in the Eurovisie Songfestival in Italy, the 25-year-old Stien den Hollander put herself on the map as one of the most original voices in the musical landscape. ‘Onderweg’, her collaboration with Bazart, also easily found its way to the charts in Belgium. In addition, she played in a sold-out AB earlier this year with her best friend Froukje. Her combination of personal lyrics and catchy pop music make her concerts a unique experience. Naft NAFT is an explosive brass sensation from Belgium that combines the power of brass instruments with the pulsating beats of techno and house. With their unique and highly flammable live shows, the six-piece band provided ecstatic parties on the stages of festivals like Pukkelpop, Ostend Beach, Extrema Outdoor and much more. Their vibrant energy, uncompromising rhythms and pure rave spirit provide an impressive live experience that can compete with any DJ set – an immersive ride that resonates for a long time. Blu Samu De Portugees-Belgisc The Portuguese-Belgische Blu Samu moves between pop, soul and hip-hop with a real punk mentality. She took her first steps under the wings of the Brussels hip-hop scene around Stikstof, among others, with features by Zwangere Guy. But in the meantime, she evolved from rapper to adventurous artist with her own voice. On her debut album ‘(K)NOT’, Blu Samu proves that she is one of the most exciting new Belgian artists.
