Recorded with Swiss producer Tom Oehler, The Healing contains thirteen songs that provide an intimate look into Steverlinck's personal healing process. "This album was born out of necessity," he says. "The songs are thoughts sung out loud from a period of anxiety attacks and self-reflection. Only when the songs were finished did I see the pattern – this was my healing process." With a tour of more than 70 concerts and more than 30,000 tickets sold in Belgium, Steverlinck brings an innovative live show. Inspired by the mesmerizing character of Nick Cave, he switches effortlessly between subdued solo moments and grand, immersive passages, supported by an eclectic band and innovative live arrangements. The Healing is the successor to the gold-awarded Night Prayer and promises to be an immersive musical experience once again.
