WOEST (9+) - Goele Denil

There is a rumble behind the closed theater curtain. It is De Voorstelling. De Voorstelling is furious! She growls and snarls and tears everything to shreds. The performance cannot start like this, soon the whole theater will be destroyed! The curtain must remain closed. De Portier must extinguish the fire. But how? With a solid portion of punk and absurd humor, the makers go in search of that which does not want to be tamed. What would the world look like if we didn't restrain our verbal tirades, tapping feet, and fidgeting fingers? What happens if we no longer suppress our wild feelings, but instead embrace them? WOEST is a musical family performance for everyone who has ever felt their gut boiling or felt a storm raging from their mouth and FELT STEAM COMING OUT OF THEIR EARS AND THEN HEARD THAT THEY HAD TO BE CALM AND QUIET AND ABOVE ALL NOT NOT NOT ANGRY! BE ALLOWED! TO BE! AND BECAUSE OF THAT NOW DOESN'T KNOW HOW!!! THEN!!! WELL!!! TO!! DEAL!! WITH!! ALL!! THOSE!! WILD!!! FEELINGSSSSS!! Goele Denil graduated in 2020 as an actor/maker at the Conservatorium van Antwerpen.
