Bruges in our Heart - A show full of Bruges nostalgia

Treat yourself to this unadulterated Bruges show with special guest Jules Verriest , a luminary of Cercle Brugge, who is celebrating his 80th birthday this year! During this show, we dive into the rich Bruges past. De Mugge van Brugge takes us, among other things, through the oeuvre of Willy Lustenhouwer. Accordionist Rita Cordy plays Bruges (and other) sing-alongs, while ‘Verloren Hoek’-talents Dylan Debaene and Rik Verriest pay tribute to Stiene & Stance and much more… Vincent Compernolle , who has humor in his genes thanks to his mother Jacqueline Compernolle, performs crazy sketches in his own unique, hilarious way. De Brugse live band Krot & Kompanie , consisting of Roel Jacobus, Ralph Bonte, Franky Baete and Tom Blondeel, plays the Bruges roof off in between and accompanies – as the icing on the cake – Benny Scott , who will perform the Bruges folk song ’k En Brugge in M’n Herte for us! Nico Blontrock talks with our central guest Jules Verriest about his youth in Bruges, his years at Cercle Brugge, and his rust-proof love for ‘our Bruges’.
