Rising star Charli XCX makes her way through the pressure that inevitably seems to come with fame. Chased by an intrusive director and a well-meaning PR team, she must try to keep her ‘brat summer’ relevant for as long as possible, even if that means she has to hide in a burning giant lighter. The result is a mockumentary full of awkwardness and self-reflection that mixes satire and vulnerability into a playful whole.
