Fate brought me to this beautiful country 10 years ago, where life is fantastic, but where things also go fantastically wrong so often. That too is fate, and I embrace that with pleasure as well.” Jan Jaap van der Wal is now 10 years a ‘Flemish person in training’ and can no longer be imagined out of the Flemish theaters and on television. The love is mutual, and to celebrate that, Jan Jaap brings his biggest show to date in Flanders. Because whether we go under due to a possible war, or a budget deficit, or we choke on a shrimp croquette by the sea; we are going under anyway, so let's do it with a big smile.
