This weekly workshop will invite you to explore techniques of making, assembly, or retouching, whether in the field of clothing, accessories, or even furniture. And once you are confident, why not approach sewing in a creative way? You will be led to learn to use or improve the use of a sewing machine, to read and modify patterns, to choose the appropriate fabric as well as to master many finishes such as the application of bias tape, piping, facing, lining, zippers, etc. Throughout the year Samuel will be at your disposal and will help you shape your projects according to the rules of sewing for beginners or initiates.
Equipment to bring: transparent pattern paper (Véritas), a ruler or a square, a pack of sewing needles, a box of pins, a spool of basting thread, two tailor's chalks (one white and one colored), a pair of scissors for paper, a pair of scissors for fabric, a tape measure, adhesive tape, a colored pen.
