Like the Full Moon Says - Bérengère Bodin & Ivan Fatjo / Theater Malpertuis

“Like the full moon says, everything will come back.” - Teodor Currentzis Ivan Fatjo and Bérengère Bodin met each other in 2000 during their studies at the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine in Angers (FR). They each built a renowned international dance career and now, more than 25 years later, stand as a duo opposite each other in their own performance. Like the full moon says is a celebration of life as a forty-year-old in a society that is focused on youthfulness. Inspired by clowning, in dialogue with the audience, and flirting with dance and theater, Bérengère and Ivan question the norms of the young body. They use humor as a means to explore feelings of grief and acceptance and to rediscover their body in change.
