Exhibition accessible during Library opening hours. Artistic journey - After spending more than 10 years at the Lillois Creative Workshops (painting workshop of Mr. Jacques Bauden), Françoise Massart joined the School of Arts de Braine-l'Alleud. There she took art history classes (Mme Anne Deliège) and painting classes (Mme Barbara Geraci). She is currently taking the experimental practice class of Mr. François Huon. Artistic approach - "I discovered, in my book boxes, very damaged books dating from the early 20th century. My wish: to transform them into "artistic objects" while preserving their singular beauty. Each piece is unique, the wear and tear of time and the fragility of the work are frozen." Would you like to buy a book? It is possible to reserve a book with the artist (your price will be hers).
