Solar wind party: cycle along!

A day full of experience, meeting, and sustainable inspiration with the whole family Natuurpunt is a co-organizer of the Zonnewindfeest (Sun Wind Festival) and provides a touch of nature. Visit our stand at the sustainable discovery place, because there is a lot to experience: a workshop on dissecting owl pellets, nature quiz, feel box,... or join our short nature walk. Pedal away! Together with Ecopower and Volterra, Natuurpunt provides a nice bike ride along nature reserves and sustainable energy projects in Eeklo and Waarschoot. Along the way, you can have a drink and/or get some info about nature and energy at three manned stops (Bellebargiebos, AZ Alma, and Huysmanhoeve). Participate in our competition and maybe you will win a family visit to the wind turbine next to the Huysmanhoeve! The bike ride is 28 kilometers, or a shortened version of 18 kilometers. Free start between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Natuurpunt information stand at the Huysmanhoeve or at the entrance of the Bellebargiebos.
