Ars in Cathedrali organ festival with organist Bart Jacobs

This concert of the "Ars in Cathedrali" organ festival of the Cathédrale des Saints Michel et Gudule in Brussels honors the organist Bart Jacobs in his program “Stylus phantasticus” (works by D. Buxtehude, Fr. Tunder, J.S. Bach). Bart Jacobs is the titular organist of the Cathédrale de Bruxelles. It is around the theme "Music transcends our horizons" that this 14th organ festival is organized every Tuesday evening at 8 p.m., from July 28 to September 1. The concerts are played on the majestic Grenzing organ hanging in the nave of the cathedral in a swallow's nest, an ideal location from an acoustic point of view. A giant screen will allow the public to admire the playing of the organists whose console is located at a height.
