Izzy & De Nachtraven is the musical project around singer-songwriter Izzy Van Aelst. If a cat has nine lives, Izzy wants to live all nine to the fullest. Born in Congo, raised in Leuven as a football player, politician, lawyer, marketer, and TV personality. But as he says: 'Music was my first love and it will be my last.' With his nine Night Ravens, he brings brilliant Dutch-language soul, blues, Motown… all held together by a warm African timbre with Flemish guttural-R, taken from life and brought straight from the heart!
