Koen Broucke: In A Landscape

Can music be so intoxicating that you imagine yourself in a landscape while listening? Visual artist and pianist Koen Broucke makes a selection for piano solo, where the evocation of the landscape is central. Hereby he shows a projection of extremely suggestive dune landscapes. The solo concert by Koen forms the perfect soundscape for the simultaneous winter expo ‘The longing for dune’. Visit the free expo in Westende in Villa Les Zéphyrs from December 19, 2026, to April 11, 2027. With music by, among others, Arvo Pärt, Jacques Brel, François Couperin, Robert Schumann, Edvard Grieg, and John Cage.
