Hunting for the Stag beetle - 2026

The stars of our nature are awake again…  On warm summer evenings, the impressive Stag beetles fly loudly buzzing through gardens and green spots in Overijse in search of a partner. With the OverVliegend Hert project , we are working on more connection between habitats, so that this special beetle can move safely between Overijse , Hoeilaart , the Sonian Forest, and Brussels.
