Book Club The Guinea Pigs @Astridpark

Do you love reading and would you like to talk about books with others? On Thursday, August 20 at 7 PM, we will meet in Astrid Park (near Café du Parc) and discuss the book 'Grondwerk' by Tijl Nuyts. For those who want extra reading material: we will also discuss 'Het laatste elftal' by Barbi Markovic, a booklet of 100 easy-to-read pages. Grondwerk reveals a hidden world under the Vaderlandsplein in Brussels. Hidden in a system of corridors, a naked mole-rat, on a mission from the Hoorn van Afrika, is waiting for a briefing. A human who reports to her burrow wins her trust and records her story word for word. Meanwhile, sinkholes are growing all over the city. Something is brewing in the administrative heart of Europe.
