Nyege Nyege Mirror World

September 25 & 26: Nyege Nyege – Mirror World We’re collaborating with Nyege Nyege, a Ugandan festival and label that has become a major platform for African electronic and underground music and arts. Its first edition took place in 2015 near the source of the Nile in Jinja, Uganda, with the ambition of providing a stage for new forms of African music. As Nyege Nyege prepares for its 11th edition in Uganda, along the Kalagala Falls, the team is also developing a sister festival in Brussels, imagined as a portal between Kampala and Brussels. Over two days, the festival will bring together more than 40 artists across three stages, with live concerts, DJ sets and performances. The program also include day time activities such as listening sessions, exhibitions and presents itself as an opportunity to connect and exchange, exploring the ideas, stories and communities that shape these musical scenes.
