We always end the season on location. This time, with a tragicomic performance, we are looking for a bright spot in the climate story.
Root drought, not-so-fine dust, aggressive-invasive species, rising moss costs,
pesticides, exploding nature tourism… The forest is boiling over!
Blue tits only eat chips,
beavers build a dam out of plastic bottles
and some squirrels dart around like unguided missiles,
fighting over a half-empty Capri Sun.
Willie Wonders climate show tries to bring hope in these difficult times.
The animals and plants sing and dance until they're sweating, but when even their own show
is jeopardized by an outside threat, the animals break character.
The musical sputters, the children's drawings growl back, the stuffed animals fight back.
BOS is a wonderfully absurd, funny, and moving family spectacle on location. BRONKS and BOS + joined forces for a climate musical with cardboard sets, animal costumes, rhyming songs, and a whole lot of playful activism.
Powerful location theater with the wonderful acting of Titus De Voogdt, Tania Van der Sanden, Greet Jacobs, and Mats Vandroogenbroeck.
For this performance, we are really diving into the forest. The location will be announced later.
