Organ Concert Paul Steegmans (Hasselt)

Paul Steegmans (°1957) studied piano, organ, and writing at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven. He obtained the diploma "Laureate piano and music education" in 1980 and a first prize in fugue in 1985. He completed his composition studies at the K.V.M.C. in Antwerp with W. Kersters in 1993 with a first prize in composition. The concert practice of Paul Steegmans consists mainly of accompanying singers and choirs, both on piano and on organ, and he has gained quite a reputation with this.
