As a child, she discovered a love for piano and everything that sounds from the age of four. After music theory lessons and classical piano at the local academies, she eventually went to Kunsthumaniora Brussel where she received her first singing lessons. Under the wings of Sarah Klenes and Lennert Baerts, Anke works on her own repertoire that moves between singer-songwriter, jazz, and folk. She is active in projects such as Blue Room and Anke Ludwig Trio. For this occasion, she takes Bruno De Smet (Slagader, Sauce Control), Ceres Lauwers (Chimaera, Canens Quartet), Nanou Van De Sande (Nanou Van De Sande Quartet), and Simon Pas (Simon Pas Quintet, Aghogho) with her.
