Edith is a journalist and single mother. Solo parenting is hard on her. When the identity of the man who donated the sperm comes to light, she seeks him out under the false pretense of interviewing him about his company. Their meeting slowly grows into a sincere bond, while Edith sinks further and further into her lies.
