Nightjar and moth walk

With guide Sam Gielen, you will discover the habitat of nightjars and moths. Our purple heath seems serene and quiet during the day, but as soon as the sun disappears, a hidden world awakens. The purple glow gives way to fluttering moths in unexpected colors, and somewhere in the twilight, the mysterious rattling of the nightjar sounds. During this evening walk, we will head onto the heath together in search of these shy nocturnal flyers. As the darkness closes in and the scent of warm earth hangs in the air, you will discover why this rugged landscape is such an irresistible place to live and hunt when night falls.
