Following the lecture by Guy Van Doorn about Vincent Van Gogh, Diane, Julien, and Guy will take you to the Kröller – Müller museum. We depart from Turnhout by bus towards the Netherlands.
In the morning, you will visit the sculpture garden on your own.
Het Kröller-Müller Museum has one of the largest sculpture gardens in Europe. The surroundings invite you to enjoy: both the sculptures and the magnificent nature. In the extensive sculpture garden, you will discover sculptures by, among others, Barbara Hepworth, Jean Dubuffet, Marta Pan, Auguste Rodin, Gerrit Rietveld, Jean Arp, Ana Maria Tavares, Stanley Brouwn, George Rickey, and Pierre Huyghe.
In the afternoon, we will visit “Van Gogh, all our paintings” under the guidance of a guide. You will stand face to face with the most beautiful Van Gogh collection in the world. In addition, you will enjoy masterpieces by modern masters such as Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, and Piet Mondriaan. The museum is the treasury of De Stijl and futurism, but also surprises with presentations by contemporary artists.
Due to its location in the middle of Park De Hoge Veluwe and the unique combination of art and nature, Kröller-Müller is a place to enjoy and unwind. A perfect day out for young and old!
We depart by bus strictly at 7:30 AM from the Stadspark parking lot in Turnhout (intersection of Graatakker – Papenbruggestraat). Please be present at your boarding point at least 10 minutes early.
Arrival back in Turnhout is scheduled around 7:00 PM.
