When Wanneer Pippi Langkous receives a message in a bottle from her father, Captain Efraïm Langkous, she discovers that he has been captured by the notorious pirates Bloed Barend and Messen Jochem. Voor Pippi there is only one solution: save her father. Together with her best friends Tommie and Annika, Pippi sets off on a journey full of unexpected turns. With an air mattress, a homemade plane, and a good dose of guts, they travel across seas and islands in search of the mysterious pirate island Taka Tuka.
