De Belgische trumpeter Cedric De Lat brings a fresh and melodic look at contemporary jazz with his quintet. With lyrical compositions, powerful improvisations and a close bond between the musicians, the ensemble creates a refined and energetic sound. The music moves between modern jazz, cinematic soundscapes and subtle grooves, inspired by both the American jazz tradition and contemporary influences. Cedric is a jazz trumpeter and composer with a strong affinity for melody, timbre and interaction. He studied jazz at the conservatories of Ghent and Antwerp, and is active as a freelance musician in various jazz and crossover projects in addition to his quintet. He worked with, among others, Lander Gyselinck, Jakob Bro, blackwave. and Iskander Moon. With his warm tone, he is steadily building his own place within the Belgian jazz scene. --- Natashia Kelly is a Belgian-Irish vocalist, composer and bandleader with a unique, soft and powerful voice. Her album ‘Dear Darkening Ground’ (WERF Records, 2023) about the fragile relationship between man and nature received 4 stars in Le Soir and toured with Jazzlab. The new album ‘Let's Make a New Beginning in this Cold Season’ will be released in November 2026 by Challenge Records International. In this album, she seeks a balance, a tightrope walking in these turbulent times. The music connects contemporary jazz, singer-songwriting, art song and improvisation. The voice of Natashia and Benjamin Sauzereau (guitar, electronics) largely determine the sound of their music, rhythmically propelled by Yannick Peeters (double bass) and Dré Pallemaerts (drums).
