He is a genial, blonde Belgian: indecisive and peace-loving. She is a temperamental, dark-haired Italian, a full head shorter and unwavering. These acrobats have nothing in common at first sight. But between them stands a roue cyr: a giant titanium hoop that brings opposites together like a magnet. One approaches the roue cyr cautiously, the other jumps into it with full conviction and lets themselves fall. Instead of making compromises, they use their contrast as a creative engine. This creates a beautiful physical and playful dialogue in which they challenge and tease each other but just as much support and help each other. A live-mixed soundscape and sophisticated lighting plan complete the experience. Not a feel-good circus, then, but a performance with hooks, subtle humor, and previously unseen acrobatic feats.
