Earth song - Chamber Choir Flanders

Met Earth Song brings Chamber Choir Flanders, under the direction of Jeroen Keymeulen, a new concert program that touches deeply and at the same time encourages reflection on how we treat nature. Earth Song is a multimedia experience in which music, text, and experience flow together. Contemporary masterpieces by Frank Ticheli and Christopher Tin alternate with timeless repertoire by Charles Villiers Stanford and Camille Saint-Saëns. In addition, Chamber Choir Flanders also commissioned two Flemish creations. Koen Dejonghe sets texts by Guido Gezelle to music, Lara Denies gives sound to poetry by Emily Brontë.
