Plants do not need humans, the other way around does. Plants existed before animals and humans appeared on earth. Plants live on water and minerals from the soil, carbon dioxide from the air, and light. But humans do not live on love and heavenly dew alone. For food, clothing, medicines, building materials, and much more, humans are dependent on the plant world. Even the fossil fuels that are at the origin of the industrial revolution are of plant origin. Without plants, no food for animals and humans. Without plants, no comfort. Without plants, we are nothing.
