Student life in a monument

Today the Justus Lipsiuscollege is closed in anticipation of a thorough renovation. But for more than 150 years, students of the Leuven university lived here. After the works, they are welcome again, and during Open Monumentendag also visitors! Visit the college on your own or follow a guided tour and learn more about the history of the building and the planned renovation. For children, there is a scavenger hunt and in the garden, you can go for a coffee and other goodies in the pop-up bar of Bar Berlin/Bar Madrid. Leuven Leest provides an hour of silence, comfortable chairs, and a book exchange table to enjoy Slow reading together. Just bring a book and find a spot in the garden or chapel. You can also enjoy a bit of music thanks to the Leuvens Universitair Koor (LUK) and some musicians of the Universitair Symfonisch Orkest (USO) in the garden and chapel.
