Fruit walk (5 km)

The annual fruit walk through Kiezegem, along the orchards laden with apples and pears. Along the way, more information about the Zilverberghoeve, the Saint Peter's Church, the water tower, and the Spikdoorn chapel. Special attention to Eddy Merckx, the birthplace, residence, and artwork of this tough cycling champion. After the walk, free visit to Museum44, with an explanation of the dramatic events in Meensel-Kiezegem at the end of the Tweede Wereldoorlog.
