Nyota, les Enfants Lumière • Le POP Cultural Center of Braine-l'Alleud
In an orphanage in Kivu, children broken by the wars of eastern Congo are rebuilding a family. Run by Sister Clotilde, who is often absent for her distant missions, this haven of resilience reveals their solidarity and profound courage. Through their words and drawings, their stories of exile and loss unfold, as well as their desire for truth, their hope for a bright future, and their fierce will to exist.
Among them, Chantal and Paulin, brother and sister born from war rapes, meet for the first time, far from their village of origin. Driven by the need to understand their roots, they set out in search of their mother and a meaning to their identity.
