playField - The Last Resort

playField is developing a theatrical route: visitors move along a path of text and image, which works towards the pavilion. During this route, a speculative afterlife unfolds. The Last Resort rolls out an all-inclusive holiday resort as a floor plan around the pavilion. The guests here are not living people, but deadbots: digital survivors, AI reconstructions of people who are no longer here. This event is part of the REFUGE pavilion program.
