An eccentric professor tests her invention: skipping the seasons and making summer last forever! But it goes wrong: the heat becomes unbearable, animals panic, and an army of ants attacks. Only a farmer, with his deep knowledge of nature, can help restore the balance together with the audience. This unique family performance takes young and old on a magical adventure full of music, interaction, and wonder. With beautiful, self-composed music in Dutch, playful scenes, and an imaginative set, Always Summer is a swirling story about the power of nature and the importance of balance. The first series of performances consists of five shows that take place on beautiful farms in the Meetjesland and Leievallei – in Deinze, this is at Hoeve Schollier-Crèmerie Melanie . A unique opportunity to combine culture and nature! This project is made possible in part by rural program LEADER and aims to bring farmer and citizen closer together.
