Difficult to find a musician who has marked the collective imagination as much as Nino Rota. Du Guépard to The Godfather, passing through La Strada or La Dolce Vita, he signed the most striking music in the history of the 7th Art. In the memory of millions of spectators, engraved melodies that made him one of the greatest composers of the 20th century.
Complice de Federico Fellini, but also of Luchino Visconti and of Francis Ford Coppola, he knew how to create sound universes immediately recognizable, mixing poetry, nostalgia, and dramatic power.
From these scores that have become mythical, the composer and arranger Vincenzo Anselmi proposes a true musical journey through the masterpieces of Italian and Hollywood cinema. This orchestral fresco brings back to life the unforgettable atmospheres of these cult films.
The ORCW will also perform other great classics of the 7th Art for a journey through the great masterpieces of cinema.
