The regional forest in Ravels: a rich variety.

We are taking a walk in the vicinity of the Ravel regional forests. Many still use the name State Forests, but with the second state reform in 1980, the authority for nature conservation and forest management was transferred to the regions. From then on, we speak of the Ravel regional forests. These forests, which were purchased by the Belgian state at the beginning of the last century, are managed by the Agentschap Natuur and Forest agency.
