Afroton Festival is setting down in Roeselare's TRAX site again on October 10 for its third and largest edition yet. Warre Vandoorne, Tejan Kamara and Izzy Ramos is fully determined to transform the TRAX site from 2 PM to 5 AM into a vibrant epicenter of Afro and Latin culture. Musically, they are rolling out two stages. The main stage will be the absolute hotspot for lovers of Afrobeats, Reggaeton, and Amapiano. Eye-catchers on the bill are international pop star TJ WEST, emerging Parisian talent Toya K, London top DJ Jada-Kai, and young Antwerp star DJ Ninette,” they say. In addition, there is the electro stage, where the leading role is reserved for house, techno, and commercial music, enriched with a characteristic Afro-Latino touch. Besides the musical offering, the organization is strongly committed to experience and community. Think of a spectacular dance battle, shopping at stands with items including exclusive clothing, tooth gems and lashes, and tasting authentic Afro and Caribbean dishes at the food court.
