‘Discover-your-Spot’-nature walk: Kolvezipte

De Kolvezipte, a distant western spur of the Edewallebos, is a small but valuable nature reserve. For years it lay as an unreachable island between the fields and the meadows, but in 2018 the Agency for Nature and Forest was able to purchase and afforest 2 adjacent plots, so that there is now a connection between the area and the Koekelarestraat. The different biotopes, with overgrown meadows and old and new forest, make it more than worth discovering.
