Artist studio: Marie Rosen and Pauline Coubbe

The two artists Marie Rosen and Pauline Coubbe each benefit from a workshop in the SB34 space, an organization dedicated to contemporary artistic practices, which offers artists workshops, quality material as well as an exhibition space and accompaniment. If the two artists have very different practices they each have a very dreamlike universe that takes us into a strange, poetic, and unreal atmosphere. Marie Rosen offers a painting all in surface and very smooth with characters, objects, or landscapes out of time almost unreal that bring a feeling of strangeness. Pauline Coubbe uses in her practice as a sculptor plastician resins, modeling and molding techniques to highlight the memory of materials and the marks of time on the living by playing with different textures.
