Axel Flovent is a talented nineteen-year-old singer-songwriter from a small fishing village in Iceland. He had been writing music for a while but broke through this year with the EP 'Forest Fires' which has been played more than 100,000 times on Spotify. Comparisons with artists like Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, and fellow countryman Ásgeir come up and a great future is predicted for Axel Flovent. His sympathetic, melancholic songs deserve it.

Vincent Coomans explores grief and loss in his intimate bedroom music. After his praised EP Can’t you see that I Slowly distance myself from you (2020) and album The Great Rebuild (2023), he received recognition from Radio 1’s Duyster and various music blogs. His single “Catch The Night in Marble” landed on the best-of-2023 lists.
In 2026, Vincent Coomans released his long-awaited new album Dark Dog. The album arose during a period of personal transition: he became a father, while his own father slowly lost his acquired skills and memories. Coomans processed these intense emotions in his music, while observing and integrating his daughter's playfulness and curiosity. Her voice, toy instruments, and exuberant play transformed the fraught music into something unexpectedly playful and exuberant.
