▲ BAKARI Bakari, originally from Congo, presents himself without a mask, with the naturalness and sincerity of those who have a lot of spleen in them. After an experience in a group (Nü Pi) and a first solo EP in 2018 (Kaléidoscope), he took the time to build his universe. Since 2021 and the release of “Sur écoute”, a trilogy inspired by the series The Wire, he has released two albums (Supernova, Trap n Blues, vol.1), an EP (Arcadia) and two live sessions (Hybrid). His lyrics, deep and poetic, reflect his unique journey between Congo, Rwanda and Belgium. Noticed on the Spleen City de Dragan project, she followed up with the Tana Mixtape alongside $keeff before releasing her first solo singles, won the rap contest Le 5 Expérience against a jury composed of Bakari, Geeeko and Fuego, and performed the most striking performance of the Semaine de la Musique Belge at Tarmac.
