Alec is a gentle and introverted teenager whose entire experience with sexuality is helping at the low-budget porn company of his father Dylan. After the death of his mother, Alec becomes increasingly involved in the company. He only comes into contact with sexuality by observing the performative acts of his father through the lens of his camera.
After the income of the family business shows a dramatically declining line, father and son have to move to a small coastal town, a new beginning for Alec. At school, Alec meets the quirky Nina, with outspoken feminist ideas, a remarkable contrast to what he is used to at home.
As their relationship deepens, Alec's understanding of sexuality and desire begins to change. Nina challenges him to dare to be vulnerable and to discover together what it means to really expose yourself and be seen.
