Based on the successful book ‘De Vader’ by Florian Zeller Nadat the once-so-sparkling André has also chased away his last home nurse, his daughter Anne sees no other way out than to take her father with dementia into her home. The care for André puts the relationship between parent and child under high tension. What follows is a confusing maze in which truth and fiction become increasingly difficult to distinguish from each other. ‘De Vader’ is a psychological drama that takes an intimate look at the crumbling reality of a man with dementia.
