‘Clinge’ refers to a sand dune in the interior. On such a slight elevation, the village developed from the 17th century thanks to poldering. But the wars of the 16th and 17th centuries still leave traces in the landscape of the Stropersbos. We can also overlook that from the Niemandsland observation tower. Our regular meeting place is at the small park Luithagenlaan/Jozef Hermanslei with departure at 1:30 PM. Walk approx. 9 km; everyone is welcome. Participation is free; travel by own transport or cost-sharing passenger. In collaboration with UiTPAS.
