Wine Lips was founded in Toronto in 2015 by Cam Hilborn (vocals, songwriter, guitar) and top drummer Aurora Evans. The band debuted in 2017 with a self-titled album. In 2019, the explosive successor ‘Stressor’ appeared, which was met with loud applause and rave reviews. With their third album ‘Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party’ (2021), everything really exploded. The international music press collectively went crazy: more than 250 rave articles and reviews appeared in more than 35 countries. Latest release ‘Super Mega Ultra’ (2024, Stomp Records) is an absolute monster of an album. Just like its predecessor, it was recorded by Simon Larochette in The Sugar Shack in Ontario. ‘SMU’ is perhaps Wine Lips's most ambitious project to date: thematically, the musicians explore new territory without losing sight of their signature psych garage punk rock . “Now that’s what I call music!” – Iggy Pop (BBC Radio) Opener The Boojums has existed since the end of 2024. The band quickly generated fame by uploading gritty live VHS recordings on Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube. Their refreshingly raw and unfiltered garage rock sounds both nostalgic and progressive. The Boojums released their self-titled debut album in October 2025. It was recorded live, straight from the table. On the album, the Canadian trio explores themes such as escaping small-town life, personal confrontations, and freedom.
