Bombelbas Festival 2026: music, atmosphere and fun for young and old!\nFriday 4 and Saturday 5 September – Festivalweide Bevegemse Vijvers Zottegem\n\nZOTTEGEM – The first weekend of September will once again be the highlight for music fans in the region. On Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, the Bombelbas Festival takes place, the coziest folk, rock and family festival in Zottegem and far beyond. This year too, with a line-up to make your mouth water.\n\nFor those who love sing-alongs and heavy partying on Friday, Rosecreek Riot, Belgian Quo Band and Mother Mercury are on the agenda. Rosecreek Riot is a rock band with roots in the Zottegem/Rozebeke region. The band is known for their energetic songs with heavy guitar riffs, pumping basslines and powerful vocals. Belgian Quo Band pays tribute to the legendary British rock band Status Quo and plays major hits such as "Caroline", "Whatever You Want" and "Rockin' All Over the World". Mother Mercury is the best-known Belgische Queen tribute band that brings to life the music and energy of the legendary rock group around Freddie Mercury. The band is known for its powerful live performances and fast musical style.\n\nMet Absynthe Minded as headliner brings Bombelbas, one of the most famous Belgian indie rock bands, to Zottegem on Saturday. The group is known for a unique mix of indie rock, jazz, gypsy swing and pop. Ook Biezezbaaze, Herby & The Kelpies, Cajole2 and Sun to Sheeva are present and DJ Bertrand will make the festival tent shake to its foundations on Saturday as is tradition.\n\nMaar Bombelbas is more than just music. On Saturday afternoon there is an extensive program for children and families:\n ✨ Bouncy castles\n 🤠 Rodeo bull\n 🎨 Face painting & crazy hairstyles\n 🎪 Play village & children's entertainment\n\nAnd good news: children up to 12 years old enjoy free admission!\n\n In addition to music and entertainment, Bombelbas also provides delicious food, cool drinks and cozy festival vibes.
