Begrafenis van een goudvis started as a master's project by theater makers Yoline Denys and Sidney Van Genechten (LUCA School of Arts), but grew into a moving and quirky Yoline Denys and Sidney Van Genechten are both graduated theater makers at LUCA School Of Arts, campus Lemmens. Begrafenis van een goudvis was in 2025 the master's final project that they made with three external actresses and with actress Marlies Bosmans as coach. Yoline and co stayed for half a year in the Zandloper in residence for the rehearsals and assembly of the performance. In return, we are now also happy to present their performance to our theater audience. Voor Yoline and actress Brit Scheerlinck – both from Wemmel – this revival is also a home match.
