Summer of Baarle concert; Sedaa Trio

The music of Sedaa offers a crossover between traditional Mongolian music with Oriental rhythms and Western jazz. Sometimes mystical and then again modern. Sedaa means voice… which will continue to echo for a long time in the minds of those who heard and saw it. The musicians from Mongolia and Iran create a link between traditional Mongolian music and the Orient. Sedaa thereby creates a very own and fascinating sound world. The band Sedaa stands for impressive throat singing and instrumentals, which seem to come from another planet. Rarely does it become so clearly evident that music is an international language that allows itself to be held back by no border. The music of Sedaa feels very familiar at times and sometimes it even sounds surprisingly Western.
