Mi Alma & Iben Naessens ~ foyer music

Mi Alma consists of two people from Ghent with a heart for Latin American music. Bruno De Castro and Esther Verheye go in search of intimacy, depth, and melancholy. Their voices merge together with the beautiful harmonies of the guitar. Supplemented with small percussion and a touch of trumpet, this duo brings heartwarming beauty during the colder autumn days. Mi Alma brings canciones by, among others, Omara Portuondo, Natalia Lafourcade, Mercedes Sosa, Buena Vista Social Club, Manu Chao & Mecano. For the occasion, Mi Alma Flamenco-specialist Iben Naessens joins. Iben pays solo tribute to the great flamenco masters. Expect technical amazement, fiery energy, and southern temperament.
