The Penguin Lessons, SUMMER CINEMA

In the year 1976, Tom takes a job in Buenos Aires as a teacher at a British boarding school. Despite the political violence prevailing in the city, the school principal is keen on quietly continuing school activities. After the school has to close anyway due to a coup, Tom moves to Uruguay to party there. Along the beach, he stumbles upon a penguin soaked in oil. He saves the animal and smuggles it with him to Argentina. Not only does Tom find a friend in him, eventually the penguin serves as a sounding board and brings about changes in the entire school.
