Born in 1924 and passed away last year, Roger Bogaert had participated in every edition of Parcours d'Artistes de Saint-Gilles since 1988. He received the public's Coup de Cœur award in 2008. Through an exhibition celebrating his abundant work, we trace his artistic journey. An architect by training, passionate about theater and a generous educator, he tirelessly explored graphic languages, mixing geometry, reliefs, and various materials. His work, oscillating between order and turbulence, testifies to an attentive search for material and a deep love for colors. This exhibition invites you to rediscover the sensitivity and spatial dialogue of a major Saint-Gilles artist, who has now passed away.
