The universe is beautiful and there is much to discover.
Between the stars, you see dust, gas, ice, and moons floating,
but listen, there is also something to be heard in that space …
For composer Wim Henderickx, the world was too small. He looked over distant horizons, peered at stars and planets, and wrote music inspired by earth, fire, air, and water.
With his music as a starting point, Helene Bracke created a show that takes you on a journey through the universe. Stars and planets pass in review. Each with their own character, color, and temperament. Two percussionists and a singer play for, between, and with the audience and invite you for a journey past stardust, fiery celestial bodies, watery worlds, and a thundering sun.
